DC Rebirth: Warner Brothers Discovery to Reboot DC Entertainment

UPDATE: With Ezra Miller yet again being arrested in Hawaii, it's safe to say Warner Bros will add this fuel to the reboot fire. Will they reshoot his scenes with another actor? They've already pushed the movie back a year..

With the news of Warner Brothers Discovery wanting to reset the Dc Universe what exactly does that look like? We know there's rumors that The Flash (2023) will end with a new timeline, rewriting the Snyderverse and Burtonverse, ie: Batgirl, Micheal Keaton's Batman, all while the original Snyderverse existing within a pocket universe. But now things might change.

My Pitch #1:

Wb pushed back their 2022 slate because of these changes. I strongly believe Wb wil pivot, and build off The Batman.

The new heads at WB want to focus on Superman, and JJ Abrams is already working on that.

We've all been waiting on the Green Lantern series on Hbo Max. We already have a cast, but they haven't said which universe it takes place in yet. Coincidence? Not likely.

Wonder Woman, and Aquaman might get rebooted at this point too. Or delegated to cameo appearances within the pocket Snyderverse. Basically they are getting phased out.

Pitch #2:

The Snyderverse will be front and center again. Having movies like The Batman, and Joker

continue to be one offs. It could go either way at this point as the DCEU actors have already committed to these roles minus Ben Affleck. Henry Cavill wants a lot of money, so maybe now that new WB values Superman they might just give him the pay bump he thinks he deserves.
