With the recent news via Grace Randolph, and DanielRpk saying The Flash (2022) will "erase" Zack Snyder's movies. We need to unpack what that actually means.

****Possible Spoilers for The Flash (2022)****
Apparently The Flash resets the dceu timeline by the end of his movie. Leaving Ben Affleck, and Henry Cavill "erased" in the present timeline, replacing with Michael Keaton as Batman, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. If this turns out to be true. The DCEU will have a new timeline. That may be confusing. But just like "X-Men Days of Future's Past (2014)" they merged old continuity with new continuity. You still have to watch the original movies for everything to make sense. But they incorporated the reset within the framework of the
actual movie.

They didnt just recast actors. So be strong Snyder Fans, Zack Snyder's films are still valid. He is the reason Ezra is The Flash. Ezra's journey started in Batman v Superman. And nothing will change that. The starting point for Ezra, no matter how hard Warner Brothers tries, will always be "Batman V Superman (2016)". Which means "Man of Steel (2013) " is canon by connection. Now if WB ever decides to recast the core league including Ezra. Then Snyder fans can start panicking about canon. Fact is, as long as Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Gal Gadot remain, so does the Snyderverse. I would actually prefer an entirely new team rather than getting a pieced together universe. Give Robert Pattinson a Justice League. Separate from everything else.
